SHENZHEN, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Esmaeil Gholizadeh contributed one goal and two assists as Iran cruised past Indonesia 3-0 in Group C of the AFC U20 Asian Cup here on Thursday.
In the other Group C match, Mukhammadali Urinboev's winning header helped Uzbekistan beat Yemen 1-0.
Elsewhere, Saad Haqawi scored in the 46th minute to gift Saudi Arabia a 1-0 victory over Jordan, while Iraq played to a draw with DPR Korea in Group B.
Japan and South Korea from Group D will play their first games on Friday against Thailand and Syria, respectively.
