Urgent: 5.9-magnitude quake hits Tanimbar Islands, Indonesia -- GFZ

BEIJING, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted Tanimbar Islands, Indonesia at 2120 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 7.92 degrees south latitude and 130.2 degrees east longitude.
