Urgent: 6.3-magnitude quake hits 109 km west of Gorontalo, Indonesia: USGS

NEW YORK, July 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 jolted 109 km west of Gorontalo, Indonesia at 20:50:44 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 144.6 km, was initially determined to be at 0.44 degrees north latitude and 122.09 degrees east longitude.
