JAKARTA, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian anti-graft agency (KPK) said it has asked the National Central Bureau (NCB) Interpol to help the agency hunt down a graft suspect who is believed to be hiding in Papua New Guinea, KPK's spokesperson Ali Fikri said here on Tuesday.
The hunted fugitive is Ricky Ham Pagawak, the current head of the district of Mamberamo Tengah in Papua Province. He is suspected of being involved in a corruption case in a number of development projects in the district.
KPK had put him on KPK's wanted person list after not showing up for further questioning about the case.
"We have asked the National Police and NCB Interpol as well to hunt down the wanted person," Fikri told reporters.
