TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Mahdi Olad claimed a gold medal at the Men's Shot Put F11 of the 2018 Asian Para Games on Tuesday.
The Iranian athlete finished in first place with a throw of 14.00m.
His compatriot Nourmohammad Arekhi claimed a silver medal with 12.64 and the bronze medal went to Monu Ghangas from India with a throw of 11.38.
Another Iranian participant Arian Lotfi finished in fourth place, throwing 11.16.
About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.
The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
