Two quakes rock Indonesia

Jakarta, Aug 19 (Xinhua) A moderate quake with magnitude of 5.4 struck easternmost of Indonesia Tuesday, the Indonesian Meteorology Agency said here.
The quake occurred at 11.34 a.m. with its epicentre 12 km southeast of Nabire town in Papua province and 48 km in depth, an official of the agency said.
There were no reports of damage or casualties.
Another moderate earthquake of magnitude 5.1 in the Richter scale hit Aceh province at the northern tip of Sumatra island early Tuesday.
Indonesia is part of a vulnerable earthquake zone called 'The Pacific Ring of Fire', where two continental plates meet that cause frequent seismic and volcanic movements.
